Delighted with this review of my memoir (‘The Naples of England’) about growing up in Weymouth. It’s from John Lindley who has held the titles of both Poet Laureate for Cheshire and Manchester Cathedral Poet of the Year.

As I was coming to publish the book, I did wonder whether it would have a wider appeal beyond a small group of Weymouth-born people of a certain age. This accolade from such an eminent writer – and one who lives a long way from Dorset – has certainly put a spring in my step (as have all the other positive reviews and comments).
